Caring For Hand-Blown Glass

Each vessel is shaped by hand in our studio, and with a little care, it will stay beautiful for years to come. Here are a few tips:

  1. Clean Gently. Your glass is dishwasher-friendly, but we recommend hand-washing with warm water and mild soap. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh cleaners, as they can dull the surface over time.

  2. Handle with Care. Every piece is unique in weight and form. Hold from the base or the thickest point, especially when moving or arranging it.

  3. Keep Away From Extreme Temperatures. Rapid temperature changes can stress glass. Avoid placing it near open flames, very hot water, or direct heat sources.

  4. Use As Intended. Our vessels are perfect for florals or display. If using with water, empty and dry periodically to keep the glass pristine.

  5. Find Its Light. Hand-blown glass comes alive in natural light. Displaying it near a window or soft illumination brings out the depth and movement in the color.
